intermittant loss of power
« on: 02 July 2010, 22:15 »
can`t work this one out. seems to have been happening for a while and no fault codes to show for it.
i have disconnected the MAF and it got worse, no power at all really.
i have had no spluttering or anything like that but some backfiring once in a blue moon.
i was on the motorway earlier and put my foot down and it felt like an N/A 1.6. but on the way home it felt like it was runninng on uranium with lots of smiles all the way..

Was there any dramatic temperature change like really hot when it was slow and much cooler on the return?

Could this be N75 on its way out? i.e. intermittently working . if so your boost will change between normal and 5 psi.
