Rather than fannying about asking on a forum why not go and ask the seller if he'd take 1250 cash? He may tear your arm off he may tell you to sod off. But you won't know until you ask

id offer less and haggle a bit if the original price was with some tax.. offer 1100 and take it from there! its a part ex to clear so he'll probably make something on it regardless of what you pay.
