Roof lining dirty

I just recently got my mk4 golf t gti with the beige-ish colour roof lining, its got a few black marks on it, could someone advise what the best cleaners is and what to avoid like the plague.

I have used baby wipes in the past, always seem to do the trick.

just to make sure we are in the same page, im on abuot the interior fabric, was thinking it would need some form of shampoo based products, like a carpet cleaner of sorts
