help with canon 1000d

was taking pictures with my camera and then it just went off and the WB button was flashing,  camera will not come back on  :sad:
anyone had any problems like this?

When you say camera wont come back on do you mean you can't take pictures or the screen isnt coming on.

WB button flashing? I have a 500d the wb button on mine and it's a static button...

Maybe try the usual:

make sure it's charged
check the selection dial is set properlycheck memory is inserted correctly

Personally I havent heard of this  :sad:

the WB button has a blue light in the middle and it was flashing blue, every thing else went off  :sad:

took battery out and gave it a charge and  now the camera does not turn on

do you happen to have an external flash fitted to it, some people say that uncompatible external flashes can screw the camera up....

Else I have no idea, may need to contact canon  :sad:

I think you're looking at a warranty job, where did you buy it from, and how old is it?

My flash is a canon so should not be the problem

It's only 6months old so took it for repair today

they said can take upto 21 days  :sad:
