It started happening after I got it lowered, i.e. fitted the coilovers.

When I got the tracking done, the guys said the wheels are clear, so I'm assuming it's not that.

Take a wheel off and look for rubbing marks, coild be really small but would still make a lot of noise.

Also worth having a look when someone is in the car. Don't forget that the car will drop down a bit with the added weight (get yer biggest mate in there to be sure ;) )
There is a metal shield behind the break disk (already mentioned I think) hard to see it rubbing with the wheel on, but that could also be it.

hey i get a noise like this too, does it sound like your driving on rubble strips??
mine only happens when i turn right. :undecided:

i heard of a similar problem with punto gt's.the bearings where the driveshafts bolt on were worn due to too much stress after lowering and give in .... just an idea :huh:
