Mk4 ECU problem
« on: 04 June 2010, 12:55 »
I was going to piut this in VAG-COM section, but could do with a quick reply.

I use Vag Com on my car weekly, with no problems. My friend has got a T reg Mk4 1.6SR with a few faults and when I try and scan it, I can find all the modules except the 01 Engine Controller.

Sometimes it says no response, sometimes connection error.

Try it again on my car and it is fine.

Does anyone know the reason for this? or be able to offer any advice.

Ta
