I think MDI will only connect to RNS/RCD510, but someone smarter than me can confirm.

The question was about sound quality no? The only way to truly improve that is changing speakers and headunit especially as the sound stage is awful on the UK mk5s. The front pods are in way the worst positions possible. You get very little from the low end and the mid is right next to your ear. If you are serious about sound then the US spec door cards are the way forward...but that is the next level, other than custom built door pods etc

What is different about the US spec door cards?
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

the position of the lower and mid...they basically bring them all forward instead of the lower bass sitting right next to the bl00dy seat upright...

Apparently, according to my boot sticker anyways - I have the 10 speaker system.  I can only see 2 speaker areas on each door card so is there two speakers in one area? Also will I have the Amplifier installed from factory? if so where is it?

Sorry for all the questions
