as deano 2711 said it may well be glow plugs i did that to my toledo as it didnt heat properly

A mate had a hidden switch in his Supra. It was a vallet switch, kept the revs below 3k so if it was being cleaned or something similar, it couldn't be thrashed!

Not stealth enough for immobilser, the blinking LED is interestiong though like something is beinmg checked?
, if it was me it would be dash off time to see where it goes
