Getting to grips with my new GTI
« on: 23 May 2010, 19:42 »
Hi all

Just purchased my first MK6 GTI in black.  Getting used to the DSG gearbox at the mo.
My previous car was a MK5 GT TDI which I must admit was very good, but this machine quite simply has superior intelligence!!

Quick question, for any other MK6 GTI owners.  When I have parked the car and return later I can still hear a whirring noise inside the cabin.  The noise appears to be coming from below the sat nav/radio system.  Is this normal?

Many thanks

Jonny

Golf GTI mk6 DSG in black - 18inch Monza shadows - leather interior - sat nav - f/r parking sensors - heated seats - well it was a showroom model!

Hey people. Just picked up my Mk2 Golf the other day. Third one now. 2 x 1.3`s and now old enough to own a proper 16v GTI. Big up to the previous owner who gave me the motor. Yep! It was totally free... Very lucky man i am! Anyway, hi to all, hopefully i can answer as many questions as i ask. Look forward to being part of a club for the best car in the world.
