hic customer service gone potty

has it gone to pot i phoned em 3 times yesterday for a quote
1st time they cut me off
2nd time went from pillar to post then got cut off
3rd time got told they were busy and they would call me back well im still waiting lol

i have been with hic for 8 yrs i think and never had a prob always beaten other prices ect so whats happening this yr lol

yup there pretty sh!te tbh 5th time and no one is availble to take call and promised to call back 4 times now  :shocked: :shocked:

Alternatively, you could have what I went through.

Spend 20-30 minutes going through a quote and waiting for the girl to come back, finally get a price, write down all the details and take the reference number.

Phone back the next day (argue with girl on reception because i couldn't give them my renewal price from Bell (Bell hadn't given me one) and she wouldn't forward the call without a renewal price), find out there is no record at all of my quote so go through another quote only for the price to go up. Mention the golfgti discount after getting the price, only to be told "yes that includes your discount", when i hadn't even mentioned any forum discount before that......

Summary: waste of f**king time :rolleyes:

HIC = poor imho.

Phoned for a quote, took all my details, then passed me onto someone else who I had to give all my details to all over again, then I finally get a quote of £1500 (which is f***ing laughable - GTI 09 plate, 4 years NCB, 35 years old, remap).  When I told them they were having a laugh I then got passed over to some other insurance company, was on hold then got cut off.  In the end I went to moneysupermarket, and got a quote from Admiral of £520  :rolleyes:

well actully manages to speak to a nice young lady today after 5 calls and when u get to speak to to some one the service is great and tbh i dont think there premiums have gone up much  :smiley:

i found there quotes to be a bit high.
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
