Hi All.

New member here.

Wanted to ask a few questions as im trying to buy a golf.  I was quite focused on getting a MK4 GT TDI.  I was open to either 115, 130 or 150 BHP models.  Also open to 3 or 5 doors.  Wanted to spend in the region of 3k.

Im struggling to find one so i am thinking of broadening my search.  But i know very little about these other cars so here's where i wanted help.

How long are the engines good for in the MK3 GTI and the Corrado?  Also can you tell me about the different models for each of those?

Ie. for the MK4 TDI there is the GT, SE, S etc etc.  What options do i have for the MK3 and Corrado?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Ben

As with any engine it all depends on how well it's been looked after and maintained. Have a look in the MK3 section of the site for lots of info (and arguments) about the different models
