window issue

My misses bought a new car last year and ever since there has been an "imprint" from a dealer sticker on the windscreen, when it steams up. Its inside and no matter how much you clean the area it happens every time. Its quite big, maybe a 1/4 of the windscreen. As much as it racks her off its getting on my t1ts even more as Im the one who cleans it!!


Any ideas?

ipa wipedown then some window polish

or try some finishing compound on a cloth and work into said area then window polish

If I was in your situation I would use wire wool (or brillo pad) . The residue from the adhesive is to blame...good luck

jeynesey I have the very same problem.

I tried everything and even had a thread in this section about it too.

I tried all sorts including vinegar and even Autosmart Tardis, G101 and nothing I have tried has taken it off, and as you say you only see it when it is condensated.

I've just got used to it now.

use some label remover spray, you know them mot stickers? wel me like a tit, i stuck it on my window and it fell of but left the marks there and when the window steamed up you could see it, so a label remover did it for me.
