Good mornin folks.  Does anybody know if the windscreens are the same for all golf mk3 models? Or does anyone know the part number for the gti windscreen?

All mk3's are the same, I belive some are top tint and they are bonded in.

They're all the same, but I hope you know they're bonded in and need to be cut out/glued in by someone who knows what they're doing

actually there are 6 different types of screen for the mk3
(1)clear
(2)clear with different height mirror boss(95 on)
(3)green
(4)green with different height mirror boss(95 on)
(5)green with green toptint
(6)green with green toptint with different height mirror boss(95 on)
 :wink:
think they change on the same year as the side repeaters do

Yeah don't i know it, the dozy gits at Autoglass fitted the wrong one first time round and then couldn't fit the rear view mirror as the boss was too high so then had to order another one in and change it over a few days later...which in a way was a bonus as i so how managed to get a tiny stone chip in that initial brand new screen that following evening!!
