I guess most of you are using your cars as dailys, so good sound and ipod connections are a must.

I hardly ever drive my Golf so sounds aren't that important to me. When I do drive it, I like it to be like stepping back in time 20 years, and cassettes just add to that.


Mind you I had to save some serious money back then... 1st CD I bought in 1985 (ish) was £229.99 and had a remote control... and pumped out 4 x 25 watt which was mega then..  How :cool:


I remember my first cd system in 1988. Kenwood radio cassette, massive 10 disc changer, front upgrades, amp and rear 6x9's all for £1200  :shocked: That was over 2 months wages.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
