Mk3 8v ISV compatible?

Can the Idle stabilisation valve off a mk3 8v gti directly swap into a mk2 digifant?

Final annoying question, does anyone know if the isvs from really early digifants directly swap with the 90's/runout digifants?

The isvs look slightly different, with the latter one being abit chunkier around the middle.

yeah it should work. the later isvs changed a bit liek you say. my 90 digi isv was the narrow type, i swapped on a 2E one and it worked fine
