Advice needed please

Hi im new to the VW scene having been a ford nut all my life  :embarassed:
What i need to ask is there anything to look for when viewing a 1999 V5 golf
the car has just over 110k and has just had new ignition amplifiers and plugs and leads
and just today passed its Mot so anything i should be aware off ?

make sure it doesnt cut out after running for 30mins as mine does ands its the ceank senser thats gone.
Not a dear part but fitting it may be a troublesome...

look in the mk4 section, the maintenance and info part.. there is a buying guide/common faults list in there :afro:
