I've just dropped the chap an email to thank him for his efforts as I wasn't here when he carried out the work.

If any one is local, his name is Stuart and this is his website:-

http://www.axydent.com/

He can cover Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey

Fantastic result! If I wasn't looking to shift the 3 I'd be giving him a shout.

When your passing hey Shaun? How about when you come down to get the 1 sprayed?

Done some very productive work on the VR6 today:-

I purchased a couple of donor doors from Jez on here and have now replaced both window regulators and door locks. Everything now works as advertised  No more sticky windows and door locks playing up.

Whilst at it I have put a washer under each lower door hinge to raise the sagging doors and they now shut 'just like a Golf'. Really pleased

Tomorrow I'm going to spray some Waxoyl type stuff (it's actually some old time expired Dinatrol that we use on the aircraft) around before refitting the membranes and door cards.
