Theres no reason it would not do similar performance figures to the scirocco R. That has been tested by autocar and autoespress.
But 5.3 secs with an extra 43 bhp? Sorry, no way.
6 secs maybe or at a push on a good day, perfect tarmac and with a following wind, possibly 5.9 secs.

0-60 imo is a meaningless figure i much prefer 30-70 overtaking figures or ingear figures it takes the off the line bit out the equation and i don't do traffic light racing so thats not a factor for me.
