1/4 mile times
« on: 19 November 2004, 18:00 »
I'm off to the strip on Sunday with a few local GTI fans. I'm taking the Corrado down, and looking forward to see what all the cash I spent has actually achieved.
I know there are a few of you with some 1/4 mile times under your belt, so post them up and let me see what I have got to beat ;D
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

my best time at pod was a 16.002 at 87 mph, that was in the 16v (mk2), along with 32mm aucostic shelf (fookin heavey, with sub amps/ two 6x9s) other ice, half a mk4 engine in the boot, 1/2 a mk2 engine int he boot along with loads of other junk /water/polish.., oh yeah and a nearly full tank of fuel!!!! would have been low 15's i reckon with out all that crap in there!!!,

so adam, no spare wheel/jack that day (just a can of tyre weld) no excessive ice, and 1/4 tank or less of fuel that should take a few nads off it!!!!, ?but mostly its down to reaction times!!!

Gaz ;D
