hello,i have a mk3 16v 96 golf my insurance have said i need either a cat 1 or cat 2 immobiliser for me to be covered for theft,does my car have one fitted as standard???

A couple of good cat2 options are the Clifford Virtual Key3 or the Toad Laserkey both somewhere around 150.

Cat 1 is an alarm and immobiliser, where as cat 2 is just the immobiliser
