mk4 3 spoke steering wheel onto mk3 ????

Hi all.I have done a bit of searching to try and find out what's involved in fitting a mk4 wheel onto a mk3.I know it can be done and found a link but link does'nt work.Apart from cable tying the new one to the old one i'm stuffed (although it would give me two airbags,3 if the missus is with me)!.Anyone got a link that works or knows how ?.

If you get the steering wheel from a mk3.5 cabrio, then it will be a straight swap.

But if you just want to fit a regular mk4 GTI steering wheel, then you will need to modify it...I would give you the link, but the website's down. I'm guessing you found the same dead link lol
