15quid i got it for

put it on over the weekend and it still was revin away on its own.

so i had a good look around the engine and found
to wires leadin to nowhere they had been snapped
several times by looks of it

then i saw a plug with no wires on it so i put the snapped wires
on the plug n hey presto no revin so that was the prob

so i am gonna nab a plug off the polo n fix them in properly
coz it wastes petrol revin all the time

so i got 2 stabilizer valves now both work fine aswell

99.9% of the time ISV's dont fail. its the wiring on the throttle closed switch or the ISV control unit that fails

is this a 16v your talkin about?
