BBS splits RM's and RS's are the dogs! Cant be rocking replica audi wheels now can we

I love classic/collectable bbs split rims because they dont go down in price, look good, Can change to a custom dish.

They might be hard to clean but are big boys wheels that come at big prices.

oiy.. Those Audi reps on my mk4 were on it when I bought it, oh noez

It was merely a joke poll, I was Reading someones post about him refurbing his bbs, and they just looked sooo boring, like pulled off a vovlo and resprayed silver

Anywayz if you gave me a set I wouldn't complain, my previous mk2 8v had it's original bbs and a spare in the boot, and I did like them a bit

ohh no just having a laugh mate

I've only got RX's I think but extremely strong light weight, as to fiddly to clean I agree but get round that by not cleaning them.

RS's etc are v.pretty but hugely over priced.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

You can get the dishes from Justmatz in the UK, or various German ebay sellers.
The expensive ones you mention are probably the Radinox stainless steel dishes, very strong and don't corrode easily.

Once I have built my mk2 I will keeping the standard mk3 gti wheels on it, just to show what it is. I might buy some light weight wheels, that's because I'm more about performance than looks.

Although, deep dish bbs split rims are the f**king bollox!!!

over done tbh
yeah they look great on some cars but when you go to a dub show and 80% have some kind of BBS or replicas it gets boring.
