Clutch problem

Hi

Does anyone know why my clutch pedal is higher than the brake pedal ?? & how come it does'nt bite until it is at the very top ??

If you need a new clutch make sure you go to somewhere who knows what they are doing.  I had mine done somewhere that quoted me a good price.  They replaced the clutch like I asked and put it all back together but failed to do anything about the problem where the rod that pushes the clutch plate was not locating in the middle.  The clutch pedal was also higher than the brake pedal.  Ended up taking it to somewhere else where it needed another new clutch and some other new parts.  It cost me a packet and I was well hacked off!

Clutch seems to be ok tho, does'nt slip or anything. I'll take it to a garage & have it investigated properly............I'll let you know the outcome !!

Look at the pedal cluster assembly and you will see that the clutch pedal has a stop on it that the pedal rests against, sometimes with a lot of racing gearchanges or even just normal driving the stop bends and makes the pedal sit higher than it should.
