My trip computer has stopped working on my 91 mk1 cabby gti. The battery went flat and when the AA bloke charged the battery with jump leads and i restarted the car the display on the trip read 86:00 and has done since! Now i cant go through all the functions etc, its just stuck at 86:00. Is there any way of re-setting the trip computer? Or is it just shagged?
