Fuel Filter!!

Ive un-done the clamps and the clip thats got the oseals on it!

do i just put the new one straight in and connect back up and put the new seals on? or do i have to do something with this white wheel thing on the bottom of the filter like bleed it or something?  :undecided:

Just stick the new filter back in, pop the clips etc back on then start the car as normal

Don't you have to fill the fuel filter with fuel first?  :undecided:

just pour what in the old filter into the new one then it primes it up

Can you use fill it with ATF as you can with the older TD's?

Never had to and mine fires up first time all the time

Reading a few posts on vwdiesel.net they seem to use it on TDI's as well as the old TD's.

It's meant to be a pretty good cleaner for the engine.
