Suspension looking different ?!?!?!?!

Hay all 

I had my bonnet open to day at work because i was going to switch my grils over, when i noticed  my cover was off the top of my suspension, then noticed  that my passenger side was at a different height than my drivers side.



I ve been told that the drives side is correct [asked about it a bit ago on here]
I ve just had the passenger side spring replaced (i know, you should change in pairs but skint atm had my cash going more important places house, bills etc etc)

Do i need to get this sorted so there both like my driver’s side, plus what happen/ what has the garage done wrong if anything

This happened to me when i changed my front suspension myself.Dont no whats happened but it hasnt been a problem.The only thing i can think of is i couldnt have put a new top mount on the drivers side.Just thought ide let you.Sorry if it doesnt help.

just been outside and I saw that the top had moved up a bit on one side.

Hi mate did u find out what the problem was in the end? reason i ask is i have the same i changed both top mounts 2 months ago and its now making noises when turning right and its sitting lower than other mount?

sounds like you either forgot to put the bearing back in on that side or crushed it when tightening  up the top nut. You're gonna have to pull the strut out again i reckon unless you can see anything else causing the knocking (check arb drop links and bushes)

Been searching about could also be a snapped spring i put new bearing and mounts on both sides.will have a better look tomorrow as got few other bits i need doing...

Well a lot of things have happened since i post this topic but I have got the mounts sorted I believe.

I ve had both to suspension bushes changed and now they both sit the same driving a bit better but think need wheels aligning and tracking etc doing, still getting the knocking every so often but think its possibly my CV joint only dose it when on roundabouts and not all the time going to get it to the garage when i can to find out.
