Airbag
« on: 14 March 2010, 18:53 »
After a busy afternoon taking my dash out in the search for my leak, re-fitted everything with no screws or bolts left over. Only problem is the airbag light stays on . Ive searched and found how to clear the light , but I didnt dis-connect the batterry when I removed the airbag have I knackered it by doing so or is it a precaution in case of accidental triggering? . If so will the usual methods clear the fault?

cheers

Jamnes

Thanks for that Ill give it a go in the week , the dash removal was a partial success as I now know where the water is getting in on the inside of the car but cant find the hole on the outside. I cant really take pictures of the place its getting in as even with the dash out its difficult to photo let alone explain.

If anyone is local to braintree in essex and has any ideas and is willing to have a look theres some beers in it for you. please somebody help
