brown goes to the ground conector located near the foot pedals. Red goes to ignition live....cant remember myself ???

the white and green goes to the rear dismenser switch for the heater element.

On the late fuseboxes apparently theres a green/white wire hanging out the back of the fusebox with a red plug on it that is for the mirrors, on early models you have to splice it into the switch wires.

rubjohnny is correct that is what mine is like, the brown goes to the footwell earth, and the live goes to the ignition live terminal on the right?(i think) of the fuse box, get a voltmeter and you will be laughing, and yeah that hanging green wire is correct, doodle to fit mate, you get them off ebay?
