Help gearbox oil leak

Hi just got home from a good day at r- tech and I noticed a puddle of oil under my car so I had a proper look underneaf and it is coming from my gear box end cap(square type)is there a gasket or somthing if so does any no wot the part number is and is it a pain in the arse to sort .the engine is an agu 18T 5 speed manual thanx ian

Hmm not seen that yet, Yeah the end plate is square, you'll have to take it off and have a look mate, might just be sealed on/reseal ect..

Just got the side off and found out yes it does have a gasket and it's a thick rubber one but that's not were my leak was coming from, I've got a hole on the actual side plate it's self,because when I was coming back from r-tech my under engine tray side support came off it must have hit the side of the gear box and dented the side cover because it is only thin metal and the cog has worn through it . And the cog looks ok, so ordered a new side cover and gasket got to get it Saturday and we will see how it goes

Shiiiit, Lucky there isn't more damage though mate. I ditched my undertray long time ago, hassle and weight and falls off anyway as you've found

Yer I no mate all went well at r-tech though got 219 bhp and 227 torque and they found my boost leak it was a pipe under the inlet manifold and advised me on a few bits that I need such as n75 valve and front mount intercooler so ille veep my eyes open for one on the forum .
