Is there a "how to guide" for how to checks your pipes are leaking?

What I mean is like a diagram/pic of the engine telling you which pipes to check for leaks, as i'm sure there are a few pipes that can leak right?
i know a common one is the one on the EGR but where are the other pipes and where do they end up etc.

Apologies if i'm asking a really dumb question i'm really not mechanically techy at all.

I posted up some pics and an idea of where to look for leaks etc

Have the engine running and someone operating the accerlator to rev the car upto about 2500rpm

You then place your hand near all the joints and along the pipes, checking for any air escaping and listening out for any whistling

Otherwise you'd need a boost leak tester but the above should help for the home DIY'er
