Mrs AnilS's GTI
« on: 02 March 2010, 10:06 »
Finally found my wife a car that matched here demanding needs   :smiley:
VW Golf GTI DSG (3Dr).

She only had here RAV4 (3 dr) for 11 months but the boot wasn't big enough and her previous car was a Mk4 Golf GTI (1.8T). She missed that and is a bit of a badge snob  :huh:

Found the best spec/mileage (26K and serviced every 5-7K miles) I could find locally. I had the cambelt and DSG service last Nov incorporated into the annual service (£1K :huh:). On top of the std spec, there is;

Metallic Black (Pearlescent)
Xenons
Rear parking sensors
18" Monzas (now powdercoated as they were white wormed)
Full Winter pack (heated seats, windscreen nozzles)
Full Leather interior
In dash 6 CD/radio
Highline MFD

Still needs a detailing cos I'm fussy, but after a quick clean and vacuum, here are some (low res) pics;

Yummy yum yum... I regret (sometimes) not gettin DSG  :drool:

Just drive the thing though, never mind detailing it :afro:
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?
