***not my car in the pic***

I need a new one i think. Can it be ordered or do I have to find a breaking mk2 gti?
Just spent £800 to get it throught its MOT, still needs things doing to it  :undecided:

The rubber grommet that plugs into the top of the engine? Yes VW still do these.

Out of interest how did you manage to spend £800 on an mot?

Rear subframe bushes, brake hoses, nearside steering rack gaitor, nearside track rod, tracking, coulpe of other bits. And obviously the ridiculus amount of labour costs.

Lap - Thanks, it had been ordered!

Ouch for failing on the bushes.
Ive heard so many people mention the anguish theyve gone through getting the old ones off.

X1 on the axle bushes, mine also failed mot this year on these bleeders, all the axle off to replace, ended up dropping a powder coated axle on with 2 reconditioned calipers, did it right so i know it'll be ok for a year or 2, but yep bloody expensive.

All worth it to keep the GTI on the road though
