Hi all

Wanted to introduce myself before asking annoying little questions !

I'm Barry - live near St.Andrews in Fife. I own an old Golf Gti 2.0 - on a W plate (2000). It's an old car and had a few problems and despite some grief I've had on other forums about it not being a proper Gti - I don't care, I love it !

Don't know a lot about engines and what makes them tick - but I love all cars, especially Golfs. I love well kept cars of all prices/ages etc. I have an interest in motors/motorbikes and I'm keen to learn more.

Previous history isn't great - had a load of motors most of which were Crap - will be sticking to Golf's from now on.

Anyway - hello all !!

Hi there, im new to the site to, welcome aboard...............it dnt matter ur car isnt quite a gti, its a golf and thats all that matters!  :smiley: ur not the only 1 on this site who doesnt acctuly have a gti
