On the ebay listing it says 15cm of wire, So it must plug into the original coax somehow?

Yeah, when I went to connect, I had a male coax end on the Fin and the Cable in the roof, so I just cut 1 off and replaced with a female, works a treat, and miles better reception. Got the idea from IRON TAM, have a butchers at his excellent 'HOW TO' thread here
