« on: 01 March 2010, 18:38 »
hi all , i went out to tighten my pas belt as it keeps slipping, however when i looked at pump i saw its leaking slightly and the bearing has loads of play in it , i have a spare pump in the garage, i just wondered how had it is to change and how do i bleed it and is it worth changing the fluid while im there ? also what fluid do i need and how much?
cheers tony

easy to change, unbolt stuff till it comes off and swap. to bleed it, fill reservoir to max line and leave cap off. start car and turn it from lock to lock several times, top up tank if it drops bellow max.  put cap on, job done.
