Brush for calipers?
« on: 01 March 2010, 22:29 »
Can someone recommend a decent wheel/brake brush to clean painted calipers? I've never had painted calipers before so never really bothered that much, just used wheel cleaner on em. Been lookin on waxamomo and not sure any of them fit the bill unless someone can tell me different! Also whats a decent cleaner to use with the brush?
Cheers.

something like the brushes at the top of this page should do the trick

use with a good non-acidic wheel cleaner such as Bilberry or AutoSmart SmartWheels or mixed with an APC such as G101

wash off with a pressure washer

Good brushes ^^

As for a cleaner - Billberry and Megs Wheel Brightener are both good and can be diluted.

Thats great Guy, thanks, sorry it took a while to reply, been offline for a bit. I shall get one ordered!
dragonfly, i've heard good things about the Billberry products so i'll prob go for that thanks, i didn't realise that it had to be diluted though, do you just use a normal spray bottle?

yes... dilute it 10:1 iirc (it might be 5:1 with bilberry) and just use a normal trigger spray bottle... a lot of the interweb retailers sell them
