glass sunroof mk2 golf

This might be a silly question but did all mk2 golfs come with a glass sunroof ?
I'm new to the forum had golf's in the past but my memory is fading fast old age  :smiley:

Pretty sure any G60's that had one had the metal GTI one. The only glass roofs in MKII's I've seen have been the dealer fit pop up or remove type affairs.

I know it came out of a golf bloke told me it was a g60 but it was probably 10 years ago

Doesn't look like it's marked with the VAG logo anywhere which suggests aftermarket/dealer fit.

Could also be the glass roof out of an Audi 80 or Passat as I'm pretty sure I read they fit with some fettling.

I only found it in my garage after having a clearout its been in there since about 2001 when i bought a 16v mark2
