Just get a second hand gearbox and put that in. Any scrap yard/ebay/breaker should be able to source you a second hard gearbox etc for not much money.

fair one! sell the Borbets and get some Long beaches for about £30! Get a gearbox off a scrappy for about 50 quid, the rest goes on your bushes and mounts and source them yourself. Get a mate of a mate to do the work on the cheap, jobs a gud un!

would be a good plan if we knew someone to do the work but unfortunately we dont
it is a nice car but in a way im glad,it only has a lap belt in the middle of the back seat and i have 3 daughters.the oldest has to wear the lap belt and i dont trust them in an accident.want to get a car with 3 proper belts in the back to keep my girlies safe
