I have a 1999, T reg Golf 1.8 T GTi. Metalic Black, tinted windows, 18" (8.5" wide) Kahn RS-V's, R32 dash and door Alu kit. Plus much ICE. Need tunes in a car which already has many speakers and good build quality as standard.
The only engine mods I have done so far due to limited moola are fitting (myself) a Green DynaTwist induction kit and Forge Motorsport recirculating Dump Valve. These were purchased after reading recommendations from this site! Quality products & easy to fit!
Next I want an exhaust and better (front mounted preffered) intercooler.
The question I have is when I change gear or let my foot of the GO pedal you can clearly here air being dumped or released somewhere in the engine bay, from inside the car whilst driving and without loud tunes on! I dont think people on the street can here this but have yet to check.
Is this supposed to happen or is a problem as the dump valve is recirculating (it does have an uprated spring inside it)??
Is it noticable also because the car still has the standard s**t exhaust on?! it?!?
Any exhaust recommendations greatly recieved also please Golf guru's! Also if you know any custom exhaust makers in Leeds/West yorkshire.
Please email me if you want also at 20benson@gmail.com. First 2 people who do and want one will get a Beta Gmail email account invite. Say goodbye to hotmail!
Cheers peps!
