can you help me if my car?

hello. l need your help with my golf gti DX engine, can you help me please..

Wen l start the the car its start ok, but wen l put the light on the rev convter go down
stop working but put the light off and the car and the rev convter is ok. can any help
me with this problem??

sounds like an earthing issue. check the earths on the back of the rocker cover and give them a good clean  and check for broken wires [ earths are brown or brown/white wires usually ]
also check other earths in engine bay and check wiring to ignition coil
check also wiring to head light switch, the dimmer on switch controls dash lights so maybe try a new switch

Thank you for getting back to me this afternoon. just to say thank you for helping me out.
it was the brown wire on the side off the engine head had broken off. now car and light and revs are all ok and my GTI is good again.
