Porsche 928 wheels
« on: 17 October 2004, 12:28 »
I was thinking about sticking these on my valver, 16 x 7 fronts, 16 x 8 rears, she currently running the standard suspension set up (30 mm drop), can I get away without having to roll the arches.....?

Cheers ;)

No chance! 8 wide plus the added 25mm from the porker adapters will equal arch scrubbage! get the arches sorted, it will be worth it :)

Cheers JV, I had a feeling I couldn't get away with it, do you roughly know how much a bodyshop would charge to perform this operation for me....?

Demontweaks charge ?25+vat a corner, but their work is sh!te. My bodyshop were putting a brand new arch on for me and rolled it inclusive of the previously agreed price.

You could try yourself if you're brave enough  ;D

Cheers Dizzie,

After looking this afternoon, it seems the average price is about ?50 per corner, I think I'll stick it in wiv a bodyshop, don't really fancy attempting it myself.
