led sidelight problem

I just a set of these delivered, took the bulb holders out and fitted them.
Went and started the car up and switched the sidelights on,only 1 bulb lights up(the 1 nearest the battery)took that one out and the other side still doesn't light up.so took the non working one out and put the original one back in which lit up straight away.
Any ideas why the led one wont work on the drivers side?
These are the ones i got
