i was told that the mechanical fuel pump was sh!t and i should change it to a electric one. i cant under stand the benefits to this.

So you're running a carb.. I believe electric fuel pumps produce too much pressure.
Nothing wrong with a properly working mechanical fuel pump!

yeah i have just a single webber. the guy who said it. had a mk1 cabby 1.8. mine works fine just thought id save some fuel!

Facet are the ones to get and have adjustable pressure but pointless fitting one unless your running twin 40's
