Forgive me for jumping onto this, I'm afraid I don know the answer about the pipes but, do you know if you will b using a mk3 power steering pump or an r32, I don't know if the r32 rack fits in a mk3 or if the r32 pump is suitable for the mk3 rack,
I would clear this up first, unless you know this already an I apologise for wasting your time in advance

I only say this as when I did a polo GTI conversion in the wife's lupo, I was at a crossroad wheather to run the polo GTI ps pump or the pump that was with the rack on the std car an if i uprated the pump what size belts required would be diferent as the pulleys where no longer a matching set, an the belt would need to be longer, after quite a lot if searching an chats with some vag specialists it turned out that if I swapped the bracket that held the alternator an ps pump from the original engine I could use the std aux belt size from the original engine to run the pulleys.

Mk4 and mk3 are different so you may need to look at getting custom hoses made.

Don't know if the mk4 r32 and 1.8t differ or not but on my 1.8t I used the mk3 pipes, been a while since I did it but I think I just needed to swap the mk3 banjo over to the mk4 one. I've also read some people have bolted the mk3 pas pump to the mk4 and used the mk4 pas pump pulley, however I tried this and couldn't get it to fit so may depend on the engine
20vt conversion, sig pic coming soon!

Iv put it up in the wanted section. If anyone has one please pm me and I will make payment straight away or even pick it up if it's close enough to me. I'm near heathrow airport so don't mind traveling up to 30moles for it.
