I would certainly like VW to offer more colours for the R. Another deeper mid blue would be nice; the metallic red from the Worthersee Special would be good too; the electric green from the Scirocco would be good too, especially with black wheels. I'd also like to see a gunmetal grey, (something in between United grey and Carbon grey). Finally, I'd like to see a British Racing Green option.
Golf R - almost on order - 5-door, DSG, Rising Blue, leather, 19" alloys, RNS510 with Dynaudio, ACC, Sunroof, Parking camera and sensors, luxury pack and cruise control.

On a German car?

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

if your paying £35k for a golf you should be able to have what ever colour you want
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

British Racing Green on a German Car? You have a point. Unfortunately, i can't quite stretch to a Bentley... But,.. Oh, isn't Bentley also part of the VW Group?

Indeed, but it is traditionally a British marque, so BRG on a Bentley doesn't sound daft... Kinda does on a Golf though, IMHO of course...

I agree with this; let people with too much money drive about in pink/green/polka dot cars. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

You can have Racing Green as one of the special order colours if you really want it http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=123179.0
