its not a cat. no 16v's have CAT's
the silencer on the downpipe isnt even restrictive in any way. its just a simple way of making two pipes go into one
if you want a decent system. go for the mongoose system. cracking build quality and a real good system, and sensible price also!
stay away from Magnex, they re-circulate the gases in the silencers in order to keep noise levels down. they are more restrictive than VAG OE items
