im probably gonna have data logging equipment from uni hooked up so for the sake of getting consistent data i wont be taking people out im afraid. I might be finished by the afternoon though

Doesn't matter what car you take they'll always be something faster so I wouldn't worry about remaps. The fun is in the driving not just the speed and it's not a race.

Yeah thats the theory i have already so maybe i shouldn't worry too much! 

Never done a trackday before but after selling my '85 mini that i was turning into a trackday car for this exact purpose i have decided to start taking the GTi along this year. Need to be sensible as it is my day-to-day car, but having said that i now live in Zone 2 of London and ride my bike to work so i may aswell use it for something other than trips to tesco when its raining! 

She's already on coilovers and full poly bushes and 18's with decent rubber (Toyo Proxies) so should be good to go!

Want to get the anni 312mm brake setup on there aswell to give me that little bit extra braking power and a bonnet bra to protect from flying objects!

Unfortunately can't make this one, might take a day off when i get more leave (after March) or do a weekend day although i assume these are slightly more expensive and very busy?
