back box

Dont really know alot cars but hopefully someone can help.

My back box has just fallen off , well its still held on to the car by the clips but has completely come away from the pipe right at the joint.

If i buy a new back box can it just slip over the top of the pipe or do I have to buy a new one aswell.

if you've got a standard exhaust and you want to replace the broken one then its just a case of undoing the back box hangers and unscrewing the rear pipe exhaust clip and fitting is reversal!
