the bloke i bought the golf off said there was a misfire between 2500 and 3000 revs. so decided to have a look at fixing it and damaged the distributor and i bought one from a scrappy and fitted it and it trys to start but there is popping coming from the exhaust. so i think i need to turn the distributor around and try again. if this dosen't work does anyone have any ideas.
